A lot of shooting game uses real life weapons and somewhat a look alike real life weapon. Because the uses of real life weapon in game, most shooting game fans have a knowledge of weapon (sometimes they have more knowledge than a gun lovers does).
So here's the top five real life weapons that was used in game
5# IMI UZI
There was never a single Grand Theft Auto fans who doesn't know what an Uzi is.
IMI Uzi is an Israeli made sub machine guns and machine pistols that are famous amongst
the gangsters (sspecially the Micro Uzi). Developed in late 40s, this gun was known for
their compactness and considered to be a lethal weapon in a close quarter combat.
Uzi was noted to have a low recoil and a high rate of fire. However, the accuracy of Uzi in
combat was poor and this gun will "spray" the bullets instead of firing it straight (because of
the short barrel and it's pistol cartridge) and this gun is somewhat rare in the real life
(unlike in video games).
Overall Uzi gives the shooter a great combat power in close range combat. But don't ever
try to use Uzi in long range combat (especially
DO NOT TRY TO USE IT AGAINST A
FAR AWAY SNIPER!).

One of the most powerful handgun in the world, the IMI Desert Deagle (known as the
Deagle and sometimes a "Magnum" by the people who have little to not knowledge of gun)
have been used in a lot of games. Name them Call of Duty (MW and BO series), Battlefield
Series, and Grand Theft Auto Series.
This handgun was developed in the late 70s. This gun offers a magnificent stopping power
with it's high caliber cartridge (usually the 50. Action Express) and known to have a
loud discharge. However, the weapon itself has a very powerful recoil and only a handful
of expert shooters that can handle this gun well.
This gun will make a perfect lethal gun at a close range (especially point blank range).
However, it takes an expert to operate (or at least to supervise) this weapon.

3# Thompson Submachine gun
Are you a mafia wannabe? Then it is weird that you don't know this gun. Thompson
Submachine gun (Known as "The Tommy Gun" and "Chicago Typewriter" as its street
name). This gun went famous in the prohibition era. This gun is very popular among the
Mafias, Gangsters (Model 1928), Police and Military (M1A1).
Developed in late 10s, this gun was supposed to be designed as an automatic rifle for WWI.
However, the design was ended up using pistols cartridge instead using the rifle one. Then
this gun was designed to be a "one man held machine gun" and designated its use to be a
"Trench Broom" (because WWI was also known as the "Trench War"). However, this gun
was finally produced when the WWI ended. With this situation, the gun finally ended up
being used in the hand of the Mafia (Until Model 1928). This gun was finally used by the
Military in the WWII (M1A1).
This gun would make a nice decoration and hunted by civilian collectors. Not only that,
this gun is compact (giving the user advantage perform maneuvers easily) and had a
noticeable rate of fire. However, this gun is somewhat heavy and bulky for a submachine
gun. This gun was also known to have a noticeable recoil, fragile and usually produces
unnecessary noises from the cartridge that rattling inside.
Overall, this gun makes a valuable collection, decoration and casual shooting. However,
Thompson isn't very suitable to be used in modern day combat (except for close quarter
combat).

2# M16 and M4
The M16 (and its shorter brother the M4) is one of the most commonly used gun in
video games, movies, and real life. Even Chuck Norris and Rambo make a use of this
weapon. Not only that, this gun is the only assault rifle that was extremely famous and very
common amongst the western countries military. This weapon offers a good firepower plus
its cartridge could easily penetrate a standard Kevlar.
Designed in mid 50s, AR-15 (the real name of the M16) was designed to used a high speed
penetrating mid caliber cartridge. The first variants of M16 was originally issued to the US
air force. Then M16A1 (along with M14) was issued to the US Marines on the Vietnam war.
However, the performance of M16A1 was extremely poor and constantly jammed when
used, causing the US Marines had to rely on M14 and running around to loot Vietcong
AK47.
US Marines later request a better rifle as the result of disappointment of the failed M16A1
(and their experience of the Soviet's AK47 performance). This request led to a development
of M16A2. An extensive modification was made to the M16 including new barrel, rifling,
sight, and buttstock. This development didn't only produce M16A2, but also created the M4
(a carbine version of M16A2).
True to its fame, the later M16A2 (later were M16A4 and M4A1) were recognized to be an
accurate, rapid firing and easy to maintain rifle. Its recoil aren't that big and this gun is well
known as a rifle that can be easily customized. M4 and M16 can also adapt any situation.
Nothing more you can expect from this rifle. Because this rifle fulfills all your needs.

1# AK47
Who doesn't know what AK47 is? The world most greatest assault rifle that have been
created. Everybody know it (and a lot of people love it). This rifle is so epic than even a
country used it as their flag symbol. This rifle was the second assault rifle that have been
classic rifle along with the WWII and WWI rifles.
Designed in 1944 by a tank driver, mechanic and later a famous firearms designer Mikhail
Kalashnikov. AK47 (which is an acronym for Avtomat Kalashnikova and also known as a
Kalashnikov) was well known because it's easy to build, easy to clean, easy to use, cheap,
reliable, and durable. There was a story that an US Colonel that found a dead Vietcong and
his AK47 have been dipped in mud for a long time, he grabs the AK47 and try to use this
gun fully automatic. Surprisingly, the AK47 works like it was still new without any jam.
The Colonel shocked along with the whole US Army.
The accuracy of this gun was somewhat enough (not superior to the M4) but it's enough to
fire some round precisely in semi automatic. However, the recoil of AK47 are high on full
automatic and it produces a very loud noise when firing some rounds.
The Western media always make AK47 a weapon for terrorist, gangster, communist, and
bad guys. But to get real, even American soldiers make a use of this weapon. Not to
mention this gun is actually a symbol of freedom and liberty for a lot of country. That was
the gun itself is actually a very easy gun to use, even a child (ignoring the recoil factor)
could use it.
AK47 is a legendary, it create a lot of story in each country. In Aceh, the folks there always
say "One AK47 bullet can penetrate 10 bodies". Considering AK47 in Indonesia are much
more superior than M16, Indonesian SS-1 and SS-2. That's because AK47's 7.62x39mm
rounds were much more deadlier than the 5.56x45mm NATO rounds (modern assault rifles'
rounds) and for there is a
proof for that (the video was made by FPS RUSSIA).
A lot of country try to copy the AK47 design including Israel with their Galil and Chinese
with their type 56. This gun have been seen in all conflict after the WWII and make aperance
in video game. But today, the original Soviet's AK47 was quite rare (since most of them was
replaced by AKM and AK74 respectively). The AK47 was also got a tight competion today
with AN-94 (Nikonov's design rifle that uses 5.56x39mm round).
You might been say that M4 are actually way better than AK47. But think again, a soldier
with a plain AK47 are more deadlier than a soldier with a fully customized M4.
